how to order

Step 1:

DataHQ is sold direct to clients using the dataHQ.com.au web page and the signup process is done on-line.

Go to the subscribe page and tell us about yourself

Personal Details
Contact Details
And your preferred username

When you have supplied all the above details click on the "Next" button.

Step 2:

Next select the data services you want to subscribe to, you have a choice of data subscriptions, currently we have data for ASX, SGX and US Exchanges.

The World Indices data is a free bonus and can be selected after subscribing to any combination of the above data services.

Data Histories - to access the Complete Data Histories you will need to select the data history option, you will be charged a "one off" fee and this will allow you to access the full data histories for all Exchanges. If you do not pay to access the Complete Data Histories then you will only have access to the Free Trial data histories which contain about 6 months data.

Step 3:

Enter your credit card details and click on the submit button

The dataHQ web site will accept payment by:

Visa card
Master card
Bankcard
American Express
Diners

Your subscriptions will automatically use this credit card for future renewals as they fall due.

The dataHQ website uses 128bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption technology to ensure that any transactions processed and personal details held are as safe as is technically possible. Transactions are verified immediately by your bank and are either approved or declined

cancelling my subscription

The data service you subscribe to is charged in advance, if you decide to not renew your data subscription you can "suspend" your subscription and the next renewal will not occur.

Any time in the future to re-start your data subscription log on to the datahq.com.au web page and enter your credit card details when prompted. As soon as the transaction is processed your data subscription will immediately resume.

delivery method

Currently the dataHQ software and history files are accessed via a download page, so after subscribing you download the files and you are quickly installed and downloading your data.

In future we will offer the install files and data history on CD, these will be available for purchase from a shop we plan to incorporate into this web page soon.

Once you have subscribed, your dataHQ user name and password is emailed to you, use these details to log in to the dataHQ.com.au web site.

After logging in you will see a new link named "downloads" clicking on this link you will be able to access the install files for dataHQ.

goods and services tax (GST)

Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include the Goods and Services Tax (GST). Overseas orders are not subject to this GST which is currently 10%. GST will be deducted from the order total on the final checkout page prior to payment.
